Cult Design’s 20th Anniversary

Last month, Cult Design celebrated their 20-Year Anniversary with a stylish event in their newly renovated Sydney showroom. To commemorate this milestone, Cult commissioned Melbourne-based architecture and interior design practice, DesignOffice to refurbish their Chippendale HQ. The result is an expansive showroom across three adjoining warehouses with a modified retail entrance and an improved ceiling, allowing light to pour through a timber-panelled and perforated metal ceiling to stunning effect. With an additional 200 square metres from a neighbouring warehouse, the showroom now also features a gallery, titled NAU, which is dedicated to showcasing a growing collection of Australian Design.

The showroom houses over 35 brands across furniture, lighting, and accessories, as well as the NAU collection. The space has been ordered by brand, allowing each one to be appreciated individually and tell their own visual story.

To celebrate Cult’s impressive tenure in the design industry, we’ve decided to look back at past projects and acknowledge some of the beautiful products we’ve sourced from Cult over the years.
