Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards 2016
Arent&Pyke are thrilled to have won two awards at the annual Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards – the Best Hospitality Interior for the Alex Hotel and the Best Residential Interior – Readers’ Choice for Double Bay House.
To be recognised and awarded by the industry for the Alex Hotel is particularly exciting for the Arent&Pyke studio as it marks our foray into commercial interior design.
At the Alex Hotel the experience of place has been imbued with the contextual frame of ‘Hotel as Home’ whereby public spaces have been addressed as an expanded series of domestic living spaces.
The Double Bay House, the winner of the Readers’ Choice demonstrates the ability of richly layered design to infuse a space with the nuance, intrigue, joy and warmth befitting a young family.
Being acknowledged by both peers and the public is a great honour.
