Rejina Pyo Autumn Winter 2016
Tailored swathes of sturdy fabrics cut a powerful silhouette in Korean born London based Regina Pyo’s AW16 collection. Elegantly poised these women of position radiate confidence with oversized cuffs, geometric cutouts and asymmetric forms in classic black, white, red and royal blue creating an overall graphic picture.
Inspired by women through the ages the theatrics of the bell sleeves, kaftan and 18th century loafers are inspired nods to days past. Crumpled foil fabric adds an unexpected, and wonderfully decorative, disco highlight to this lady of artistic sophistication.
