COLOUR WEEK – Eloisa Iturbe Studio
Colour inspiration comes from far and wide. On the second day of Colour Week we are delighted to share the work of Buenos Aires based graphic design and branding company Eloisa Iturbe Studio.
If you’re not already following Eloisa Iturbe on Instagram (@elo_____) you may be feeling a little grey. Their feed will inspire you to pull out that rocking red frock, crack open a packet of Iced VoVos and strike out into a brand new day.
Origamied, painted and gathered 2D or 3D compositions of both incidental and staged moments give an addictive pop of form and colour. Always considered, and often poised with a hint of tension like the paintbrush has just stepped out of frame, they are mini dramas of common objects.
Explosive in their palettes and direct in their concept they are spatially aware of their digital format which is what you’d expect from this hip branding and graphic design company… South Americans are some of the greatest ambassadors for creativity with colour – that’s for sure.
