The sculptural beauty of Sara Robertsson’s Jewellery
Swedish style is a constant contender in the age-old ‘who designs best’ of the Scandinavian countries. Case in point for Sweden, while adding to our neverending obsession with Swedish design is the sculptural beauty of Sara Robertsson‘s jewellery.
Poetic and sharp, the pieces feature fluid form, generous shapes and clean cut lines delivering a bold yet understated elegance. Handmade to bespoke orders in her Malmö studio, Sara’s pieces are made from one continuous sheet of sterling silver.
With an MA in fashion from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design, Sara continued to work with clothes, accessories, and jewellery and during these years her longing to work even closer to the design process, the materials and with longer lasting shapes, grew immensely.
Capacious yet lightweight, if they weren’t so wearable, you could be tempted to display as objet d’art at home. Covetable designs that make a statement. Adding to cart, because they are beautiful and because we love the notion (and excuse) of handing down, generation to generation.
