Taking inspiration from the statues, follies, menageries and architecture found within grand French landscaped gardens, the new collection from British wallpaper company Cole & Son ‘Folie’ takes a walk through the many gardens of France – Versailles, Rousseau, Fontainebleau, Villandry, Bagatelle and Tivoli. It’s a little bit of flower and a lot of folly. Rousseau, a ‘cartouche’ wallpaper features a painted scenes of exotic palm trees, zebras, giraffes and flamingos and draws inspiration from porcelain tableware of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The Cobalt blue is our pick.

Do you know where the pink ‘feather’ egg and the cabbage stand are from, please?
    They are utterly divine!

Hi Janet. Aren’t they beautiful?! Unfortunately we don’t know. The images are from Cole & Son. Sorry we can’t help!
