Gucci to launch home décor collection
Fashion and interior worlds collide and celebrate too, with news of the iconic Italian fashion house, Gucci to launch a line of homewares, titled ‘Gucci Décor’ in September.
The wonderfully eclectic and often quirky design motifs, patterns and prints will now not only be in your lust-list of wardrobe pieces but in your home furnishings too.
Creative Director Alessandro Michele made the announcement recently describing it as “an eclectic collection of items with which customers can dress their own spaces”.
Shared through the fashion house’s Instagram account was a series of illustrations by artist Alex Merry that depicts the range.
The prints that we have grown to love on Gucci’s clothing, handbags and shoes, are now included in the Décor range – a menagerie of animals, floral patterns and motifs.
Gucci Décor will include cushions, candles, incense trays, chairs, screens, wallpaper, metal trays, and metal folding tables, with prices ranging from $190 to $30,000 for the tessellated silk screens.
Covetable items that are sure to provide a decorative flair, will launch online and in select stores this September.
