Berlin based interdisciplinary design studio New Tendancy practice German functionality as you’d expect but give it a little tweak to create these practical beauties. No embellishment – unless in materials or colour – just refined basics. Their work is characterised by conceptual design, clear aesthetics and functional form with a sense of handcraft.
Whether in house or collaborating with other designer the principles seem to be simple ready to wear furniture and accessories that feel youthful, bold and timeless.
They’re young, fit, healthy and accumulating awards here, there and everywhere. Watch this space as we’re sure we’ll be seeing more from these players!
