The mouldings, interior shutters, corridors and parquet wooden floors and the south-facing light of the space had them immediately hooked. The generous proportions of each room and a central kitchen perfectly matched their way of living and entertaining.
Layered onto the neutral, capacious apartment is a curated collection of personal objet that tell stories of the couple’s travels – baskets, ceramics, terracotta…. The edit of furniture also tells of a couple well-versed in design and history, with twentieth-century classics and primitive or contemporary art in masculine hues interspersed with raw material and plants.

The Maison HAND shop in Lyon is a concept store designed as a large loft. With rooms including a bedroom and kitchen, there is an (extremely desirable) home away from home feel. With a beautifully edited display of tasteful brands such as PP Mobler, Gervasoni, Lampes Gras, and Society the duo has also extended into bespoke product of their own.
