Gubi & The ‘Paradiset’ Collection
Hot off the success of the Greta Grossman designs launched by Danish furniture company Gubi at last years Salone del Mobile in Milan, Gubi has recently given the world another first. This time, a sneak peek of the new release of the iconic designs by yet another Swedish woman Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist at Maison & Objet Paris. Designed in 1956 by modernist designer Hörlin-Holmquist these soft sculptural pieces are quintessentially feminine and romantic yet rigorously modern.
“Paradiset’ (the Swedish name for Paradise or Eden) inspired the Eva chair and it’s masculine counterpart, the Adam chair which are complimented by the 2.5 seater Paradiset sofa, a drinks trolley and shelving unit.
Come Spring 2014 we can get our hands on these beauties.
