Le Roch Hotel Paris
Le Roch Hotel & Spa exudes the glamour of Paris, but embodies the spirit of home. The intimate 37 room boutique hotel instills feelings of warmth, comfort and familiarity. Located on the Saint-Honore district in Paris, Le Roch is conveniently nestled between the Place Vendôme, the Opéra Garnier, the Louvre and an array of Paris’ top designer boutiques. Le Roch occupies a former Haussman-style public building on the rue Saint Roch. Award-winning architect Vincent Bastie’s elegant transformation of the classic facade, sets the scene for the beautiful and timeless interior that lies within.
The interior design of Le Roch Hotel & Spa was conceived by local Parisian designer Sarah Lavoine as ‘classical luxury with inspired contemporary design’. Lavoine successfully blends luxury and comfort into a coherent whole; her discerning eye and aesthetic sensibility has resulted in a tasteful space that celebrates ‘the art of simplicity rather than ostentatious splendour’.
Like a seamless extension of the bedrooms, even the public areas of the hotel feel intimate and private. As you enter the lobby, the soft light, clean lines and muted pastel palette immediately soothe and radiate a sense of calm. Plush sofas line the periphery of the open shared living space, offering travellers and locals a chance to relax and escape from the commotion of the city. Walls dotted with paintings, a roaring fire place and collection of library books add to the romantic and homely charm .
Each of the bedrooms are not identical, instead they are thoughtful variations of each other. Lavoine’s aesthetic is dark and sumptuous; with a blue, brown and black colour palette, stained walnut wood flooring,Carrera marble, geometric patterned rugs and velvet curtains which frame the Parisian streetscape. Combined all these elements create a cosy, yet contemporary space which is undoubtedly an authentic expression of Lavoine’s creativity and inspiration; a true labor of love.
