La Villa Rose, Paris
Soft hints of jasmine drift through the air as you approach an elegant facade, inviting you to discover the beauty contained within. A delicate palette of blush and white greets you at the front steps and upon entering you are lifted by the scent of rose and agapanthus, leading you to a room with golden walls and felted furnishings.
It’s reminiscent of one place – heaven on earth.
___
A certain type of romantic elegance exudes from the walls of La Villa Rose, a hotel of 19th Century charm that draws its inspiration from La Nouvelle Athènes and has been adorned with a flowery facade akin to the vacation residences that line the French Riviera.
It was like one of the best rooms in the finest museum except there was a big fireplace and it was warm and comfortable and they gave you good things to eat and tea and natural distilled liqueurs made from purple plums, yellow plums or wild raspberries.
– Hemingway, A Moveable Feast
The soft pink walls are the perfect backdrop for a collection of artworks by Guy Yanai and Mathias Kiss, whilst gorgeous Mediterranean plant compositions spread across parquetry flooring create a calm and intimate atmosphere. The Private mansion is situated between the 8th and 9th arrondissements of Paris and are ideal to hire if you’re looking to host a heavenly soirée.
