‘Trembling Man – Two Artists and a Poet’ Exhibition
‘Trembling Man – Two Artists and a Poet ‘is an exhibition that explores the poetic memories of Paolo Totaro in three different art forms.
Poet, Paolo Totaro together with artists, Juliet Holmes à Court and Ruth Levine intertwine their art forms to portray memories and messages of Paolo’s life. Now diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, Paolo is using his poetry as practical therapy and to help raise awareness for this debilitating illness.
The exhibition, in support of the Shake it Up Foundation for Parkinson’s disease, combines a trio of mixed-media art forms – painting, drawing, and painted vessels to visually interpret Paolo’s latest collection of poetry, adding new dimension and expression to an important cause.
Transfix yourself with a poetry reading and book launch on Sunday 9th July at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney and immerse yourself in the painted and sculptured art until the 17th of July.
