In its third year, Sydney Contemporary Art Fair returns to Carriageworks from the 7th – 10th of September, showcasing a highly curated selection of artworks from over 90 galleries across Australasia. With over 150 events included in this year’s program, Sydney Contemporary celebrates the diversity of art cross-culturally, whilst providing a platform for emerging and experienced artists to be seen on an international stage. The event appeals to those who are serious art collectors and industry professionals, as well as the curious and coveting from the art-loving public.

Sydney Contemporary kicks off with an Opening Night on September 7th with an evening of art-after-hours that will celebrate diversity through performance, installations and activations from across Australasia. Music for the evening has been curated by Vice and will include sets by Ginger and the Ghost, Marcus Whale and Mossy.

This year, Sydney Contemporary have also introduced a pop-up restaurant, run collectively by Kylie Kwong of Billy Kwong and Mike McNearney of Kitchen By Mike, who have combined their culinary skills to create a delicious and sophisticated menu exclusively for the fair.

Sydney Contemporary are offering IN/OUT subscribers access to 20% off tickets (click here to book), which is valid until Wednesday 6th September 2017.

This year’s Sydney Contemporary program is as original as it is ambitious – a Sydney event not to be missed!
