The Shoreditch firm, Bryan O’Sullivan Studio, designed each communal space with the intention of having its own unique identity. Details such as ornate Victorian wallpaper, an abundance of foliage, leather armchairs and open log fires or bustling brasserie-style dining rooms are just some of the design approaches that ripple throughout the hotel.

The grandeur of the Lobby invites you to engage with the dramatic yet contemporary space, featuring a double volume ceiling, bold spiral staircase and beautifully patterned tiles.

The Library is an intimate, cosy space for an afternoon of quiet time to work or relax. Filled with decadent leather armchairs and large ottomans with bullion fringing, the old world feel is further enhanced by period prints and antique silk rugs.

The most picturesque space within the hotel is the Garden Room, where traditional afternoon tea, light lunches or shared plates are served in an extravagant setting. Diners are seated at white cane chairs, pink velvet armchairs and purple velvet couches behind modern marble tables. The finishing touch to this deliciously visual space is the wallpaper – depicting a richly vibrant tropical oasis, perfectly suited to a room that is peppered with lush plant life.
