Creative duo Carly Jo Morgan and husband Matthew Morgan have collaborated on a furniture collection “Love is Real”. This project was handcrafted in their studio and home which is surrounded by the lush nature and woodlands of Topanga Valley, just 20 minutes outside of LA.
The down to earth yet playful and somewhat kooky pieces were designed to create a feeling of connection. Looking at the pieces you can’t help but feel that you’re seeing into the magical minds of Carly and Matthew where design, spirituality and art effortlessly connect. Brass inlaid serpents and detailed touches, little hands like the Hand of Fatima, clutch onto the side of the lounges as though they are holding you up from the world below.
Upholstered day beds and lounges in colours reminiscent of rainbows and sweet sorbet purple and pink fairy floss. Or speaking in design terms, the Pantone colours of rose quarts and serenity.

Carly Jo has a natural ability to connect her designs with the spaces they inhabit. You can feel these forces at play with her collaboration with her husband Matthew. Together they combine playful tones, sharp lines and quirky finishes to inspire other-worldly designs.
