A line of light by Thévoz – Choquet
Creatively bridging contemporary thinking with product design, swiss-born Virgile Thevoz and french-born Josephine Choquet of creative product design studio Thévoz – Choquet have created the Nova and Supernova lamps. Capturing the meeting of marble spheres and opalescent glass tubes, each material balances with poise and harmony. Delicately pinned to walls, suspending on the finest black wires and balancing in equilibrium on tabletops, the lamps almost defy logic.
The distinctive natural veining of the marble spheres contrasts the refined regularity of the glass tubes – a globe of the earth and a line of light – the synergy of materials and the exquisite craftsmanship making each piece uniquely enthralling.
