French art studio Zim&Zou applaud resourcefulness in all its forms and in a stroke of genius have commandeered the creative re-use of precious leftovers of Hermès handbags. In ‘The Eternal Jungle’, a new installation in Hong Kong International Airport, Zim&Zou have fashioned scraps of leather into a monkey, a toucan, and a chameleon.

The Zim&Zou duo explores different creative mediums of the tactile type, including paper sculpture, installation, graphic design, and illustration. Both graphic design graduates in their 20s, they prefer creating real objects with paper than composing images on a computer – and to great effect.
